Intensive Photography Course
This photography course will help you take real control of their camera and unpick some of its amazing potential.
Aimed at beginners, you will learn the art of taking great photos, how to operate you camera in manual mode, and get an in-depth understanding of concepts like aperture, shutter speed and ISO. You will also get a wealth of practical tips on how to combining all the different camera functions creatively to take stunning photos.
We will try out different creative photography techniques, practice handling different camera modes, and most importantly do it in an inspiring, fun and and supportive environment!
Course Content
This photography course normally runs on Tuesdays from 5:45pm to 8.00pm with opportunities for Q&A throughout the course.
The Course Covers:
The beginner’s photography course covers:
- Learn using your camera
- Understand Exposure (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO)
- Advanced shooting modes
- Auto-Focus and Metering Modes
- Depth of Field (DOF)
- White Balance
- Lighting with Speedlight
- Lenses, and many more.
Thought by professional photographer and tutor, you will leave the course with an in-depth understanding of photography, and learn how to combine all different functions creatively to capture great photos.

Requirements: Digital SLR Camera or Mirrorless Camera with full manual controls.
** Please arrive on time at 5:45pm as you will be signed in at the reception and taken to the venue.
